Three focused advisors
The PC Advisor balances a complete eight-part build. Engineering Tech right-sizes laptops, calculators, development boards, and lab equipment around coursework. Desk Setup considers workflow, space, existing equipment, and the upgrades that have the greatest effect.
Budget is a ceiling
A maximum budget is permission to spend up to that amount, not an instruction to use every dollar. BuildGauge can reserve money, recommend a lower tier, or say WAIT or SKIP when another purchase adds little value.
Recommendations remain affiliate-neutral
Product ranking does not use retailer-link availability, affiliate program status, or commission information. If approved monetized links are added later, they are attached only after the recommendation is selected.
